Complete beginners receive a full safety briefing and saddle introduction before setting off. Experienced riders can request cantering through the forest clearings and galloping along the open shore.
The route winds past local argan oil cooperatives, honey farms, and quiet Berber homesteads before opening onto panoramic viewpoints overlooking the Souss-Massa coastline. The descent takes you through ancient argan woodland — where goats famously climb the branches — and onto the wide, flat beach that stretches toward the dramatic cliffs of Taghazout.

All levels welcomeChildren aged 6 and above are welcome. Ages 6–10 ride a pony led by a dedicated handler who walks alongside them the entire time. Ages 11–15 ride a calm horse with close supervision. The forest trails are wide and gentle, making this one of the best family-friendly horse rides near Agadir and Taghazout.

Everything includedWear long trousers (jeans or leggings work well) and closed-toe shoes. We provide helmets and riding boots at no extra charge. Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hair tie are recommended.
During winter months (November–February), bring a light jacket for the forest section where temperatures are cooler under the argan and eucalyptus canopy. Avoid loose or flowing clothing that could catch on the saddle.
Animal welfare is central to our operation. Each horse works a maximum of one half-day ride per day, receives monthly veterinary check-ups, and enjoys free-range pasture time daily. We ride Arab-Barb horses — a breed native to North Africa, naturally adapted to this climate.
Our stables have an open-door policy: every rider is welcome to visit and see the horses before their ride.

In heavy rain, the argan groves and eucalyptus forest provide excellent canopy cover, but if conditions are too severe we offer a full reschedule or 100% refund. Head south on the N1 coastal road. Banana Beach is on your right just past Aourir village.
From Agadir
Take the N1 north toward Taghazout. Banana Beach is signed on your left before reaching Aourir.
From Tamraght
Walk north along the beach or take a 3-minute drive on the N1. Banana Beach is the next beach up the coast.
