Agadir & Taghazout CoastStarting from Ranch Banana in Aourir, this 2-hour coastal beach ride follows the Atlantic shoreline through terrain no vehicle can reach — cliff-top trails above the surf breaks, hidden coves framed by argan trees, and a long stretch of golden sand where experienced riders can canter and gallop through the shallows.
Guide Brahim — with over a decade of experience on this coastline — matches every rider to an Arab-Barb horse suited to their size and confidence. Complete beginners receive a full safety briefing and saddle introduction before setting off. Experienced equestrians can request open cantering along the beach and through the surf.
The route traces the coast between Banana Beach and Taghazout, winding through eucalyptus groves and quiet Berber paths before descending to the wide, open shore. On clear mornings, the High Atlas foothills rise behind you — a view unique to this stretch of the Souss-Massa coast and impossible to see from the road.

All levels welcomeThe 350 DH (≈ 35 €) per person includes the full 2-hour guided ride along the cliff trail and beach, a fitted safety helmet, professional photos and video taken by your guide and sent via WhatsApp, and traditional Moroccan mint tea with pastries after the ride.
Hotel transfer from Taghazout, Taghazout Bay, and Tamraght is available free of charge. Agadir transfers carry a small +€10 supplement.
Photos & tea includedRiders must be at least 6 years old. Children under 12 ride with a guide walking alongside at all times. There is no upper age limit. The maximum rider weight is 100 kg (220 lbs) to ensure the comfort and safety of both horse and rider.
From age 6 · Max 100 kgWear long trousers or leggings and closed-toe shoes with a small heel — trainers or ankle boots work well. Sandals and flip-flops are not suitable. We provide a fitted safety helmet for every rider.
Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a light layer for the ocean breeze. Avoid loose scarves or flowing clothing that could catch on the saddle. Your phone is safe in a zipped pocket — you will want it for extra photos.
Animal welfare is our foundation. Our Arab-Barb horses receive balanced nutrition, scheduled rest days, and regular veterinary care. We limit the number of rides per horse per day and maintain open-air stabling with clean bedding. You are welcome to visit the stables before your ride.

From Agadir
Take the N1 north toward Taghazout. Banana Beach is signed on your left before reaching Aourir.
From Tamraght
Walk north along the beach or take a 3-minute drive on the N1. Banana Beach is the next beach up the coast.
